Maddie at 5 months

She is recovered now from her spay. She is 42 lbs and still an energetic puppy. She adores Caleb. It is his calm assertive energy and his sweaty socks/shoes!

Our first campout of the season

John, Caleb and David slept in the tent in the backyard.
Nathan camped out in the playtent in our bedroom.
Later on in the day everyone crashed in a big snuggle fest.
Here are a few cute pics of it.

More Missing Teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now THIS is a Jack O Lantern smile. Now both front teeth are gone.

Caleb is getting rich off the tooth fairy.

John turns 40

Here we are at our first Brewers game at Miller park. It was such a good time.

The game was a nailbitter all the way to the last pitch of the 9th ining.

John asked for 2 things for his 40th birthday. One was to see a Brewers game with no kids.

The other was to go to Skip Barber driving school. (learn how to drive a nascar). Since the Skip Barber School was $5000, I opted for the Brewers. :)

Seems a little unreal to celebrate a 40th birthday for John.

I met him when he was 18 and it feels like yesturday.

Nathan's Heart and Lymph Node Update

We saw the Pediatric Cardiologist again for the 6 month recheck.

Nathan's Echocardiograms show he is staying steady at the same levels as before. Praise the Lord, there is no evidence of ventrical wall thickening. So his body is coping well with the pressure levels.

We saw the Pediatric ENT this week too. Finally. His node is now the size of large peanut. A huge improvement from 4 weeks ago when it was about as bigger than a peach pit. That was alarming!

The ENT concluded that the only way to really know what is going on is to remove and biopsy the node. Well, we aren't doing that! Since his node is getting smaller each day we are going to continue to watch and wait. We may never know what that was all about. We take comfort in the power of prayer. It's amazing how our family is reminded over and over that the Great Physician is really in charge. Good thing.

Here is a picture of Nathan getting "tickled" by the ENT doctor. (He had a great chariside manner with my little man.)

The tooth fairy is busy coming to our house!

The tooth fairy needs a part time job!
David has lost 2 teeth last week and Caleb lost his front tooth tonite.

I am thrilled at the perfect placement of David's adult teeth. No braces on number one son that is for sure. Good thing he got John's teeth. I am wearing an ortho retainer as I type this blog post Ha.

Caleb was excited to loose his first upper front tooth. He said he was glad cuz now he could do the straw trick again. I love those Jack o Lantern smiles.

Gone Fishin.

The Lake in town was drudged a few years ago. Last year they refilled it and stocked it with baby fish. We are now allowed to fish again. Catch and release only this year. Hey fine by us all we want is to catch it, or even just see it!

Here is a cute pic of the 2 younger boys fishing with their spiderman fishing poles. I have them in the back of the van for that "you never know" moment. Well it happened last week we had about an hour before getting David at school so I pulled over at the park and told the boys to grab the poles. It was a fun impromptu fishin afternoon.

We only saw a dead fish but hey that is all they needed. They are thrilled to see one floating upside down even. Ha.
